I'm really picky about my mascara. If a mascara produces clumps or leaves my lashes feeling weighed down, it can ruin my entire day. While a lot of makeup artists support drugstore mascaras, I can't use any of them (except for Revlon). Something about most drugstore mascaras leave my lashes feeling like I've coated them in cheap paint that flakes off. So, with a picky eye, it's been hard to stray away from any I've truly fallen in love with. My favorite mascara over the past few years has been Bad Gal Lash, from Benefit.
Recently, Eyeko sent me a tube of their Skinny Brush Mascara Long & Tall to try out and I fell in love with it. The packaging is fun and allows the product to have zero waste (because you can squeeze it), the mascara is water-proof, and it has enough quality to only require one coat. (With some of the cheaper mascaras, you really have to layer on your coats to see any effect.) With Eyeko's mascara, I only need one coat and my lashes stay looking full and dramatic all day. I really like the skinny brush because you can really get to your bottom lashes with precision. Again, I have to rave about the mascara because it's so creamy and thick; it just brings a dramatic look to your lashes. (The reason it feels so creamy is because it actually contains natural oils and waxes, including Pro Vitamin B, to condition and moisturize lashes while maximizing length.)
Eyeko's Skinny Brush Mascara Long & Tall (retailed at $19) just became available at Sephora in February.
Fun Fact: Adele wore Eyeko Skinny Brush Mascara in her "Someone Like You" video and says she loves this stuff.
