Ian Somerhalder (from The Vampire Diaries) recently hinted that he is up for playing the role of Christian Grey in a film adaptaion of the wildly popular, over-the-top romance novel, Fifty Shades Of Grey by E.L. James. While no details of the movie have been confirmed, the actor officially admitted that he is up for the role in a recent interview with Ryan Seacrest. Ian is the perfect fit (well, closest to the perfect fit) for the role of the emotionally withdrawn, really-not-normal-by-a-long-shot guy who can capture the heart of a woman with just a look (which seems 100% ridiculous and purely from the imagination of a woman). This book is causing a splash because of how out-there it is with the relationship between the main character, Ana Steele, and Christian Grey, a multi-millionaire who she meets while interviewing him for her student paper during her senior year of college. Basically, it's yet another story of a clumsy, plain, bookworm who somehow manages to capture the eye of a superficial man. Do you think it will make a good movie? Whether you love it or hate it, the only thing we can be sure of is that it will make a lot of money, due to how popular the book already is.
