Urban Active Fitness Presents: "Recipe For Protein Pancakes"

Who doesn’t love a good pancake every once in a while? As a kid my Dad would fix us pancakes every Sunday and I devour them like nobody’s business! Now, what I was eating was not the most nutritious and healthy meal but I didn’t know any better, nor did I care. However, nowadays I watch what I put in my body and I ran across a great recipe for a high protein pancake.

Mix together:
¼ cup of uncooked oatmeal
1 whole egg
2 egg whites
1 scoop of your favorite protein powder

Throw on a skillet and cook them like a regular pancake. To add a little flavor you can use some fresh fruit (strawberries, grapes etc).

Total Calories: 313 calories
Protein:  31 grams
Carbohydrates: 27 grams
Fat: 8 grams Fiber: 5 grams
