Hollywood Glams Up For amfAR Gala, Cannes Film Festival

Every year, during the Cannes Film Festival, the amfAR (American Foundation for AIDS Research) Cinema Against AIDS Gala takes place. This year, Hollywood came out to support this cause by dressing up and donating money at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France. In fact, the crowd in attendance scraped together over $11 million, which is the highest in the history of the amfAR gala. Stars like Gerard Butler, Heidi Klum, Karl Lagerfeld, Kim Kardashian, Nina Dobrev, Janet Jackson, and Kirsten Dunst made an appearance, dressed to impress.  While this event wasn't particularly focused on fashion, some of the gowns were amazing (like, more-amazing-than-the-Met-Gala amazing). A surprising trend being seen among the ladies is: the Angelina Jolie leg? Yes, you read that last sentence correctly.  That wretched leg is popping up everywhere, despite how much we hate it.

Kirsten Dunst, who has been said to avoid the red carpet as much as
possible, came out looking wonderful in none other than Louis Vuitton.

Nina Dobrev - Celebs at the amfAR Gala
Nina Dobrev might be gearing up to show her character, Elena's transition from human to vampire in the next season of The Vampire Diaries, but until then, it looks like she is taking some time off in France, wearing gorgeous Ellie Saab gowns.
