Kristen Stewart is taking a lot of heat in the media today for a leaked photograph of her kissing her Snow White & the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders, while in a highly publicized relationship with her Twilight costar, Rob Pattinson. Rupert Sanders is currently married, as well. Neither Stewart or Sanders denied the cheating accusations, instead released public apologies for the indiscretion since US Weekly broke the news yesterday. Stewart told People today,
Call me crazy, but don't you think Kristen is taking too much heat for this? I'd like to meet someone at US Weekly who could handle being put in a situation like this."I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him. I'm so sorry."
One of the overlooked parts of this entire saga is that Kristen was basically stalked by a paparazzi to get this photo. Do you think celebrities are being too closely watched in today's culture to the point of harassment? The paparazzi who shot this photograph is probably out purchasing a new home with all of the dirty (my feelings) money he earned, while Kristen is dealing with the world judging her. Imagine how many times you did something wrong and then picture yourself in a situation where people were selling photographs of it.
