True Blood Releasing A Cookbook?

Ever wish you could try some of the dishes Lafayette whips up at Merlotte's Diner on True Blood? Here's your opportunity.

If last night's season finale of True Blood left you feigning for more of the show, not to worry, because on Wednesday (August 29), the shows creators have teamed up with Cajun chef, Marcelle Bienvenu, to release a cookbook that will leave your mouth watering.  True Blood: Eats, Drinks, and Bites from Bon Temps will feature recipes like "Lettie Mae Daniels' Holy Hoecakes" and "Jessica Hamby's Chicken Fried Love." The cookbook will even feature Fangtasia inspired cocktail recipes, like "Tequila Moonrise." (Sign us up!)

You can purchase True Blood: Eats, Drinks, and Bites from Bon Temps this Wednesday on Amazon.com or your local bookstore. Also, check out a few sample recipes here.
